I think music can help you discover how you are & what you believe in. So yeah, I guess it can influence you. In some ways, it can influence how you dress, talk, act, & think. It depends on how strongly you believe in lyrics & the band. A lot of people feel connected with the singer because a lot of people assume he or she writes the lyrics. When the singer (or the other band members) write a song that can capture exactly how someone feels, they feel connected & then they can be easily influenced. Or I think so anyway. I guess it depends on the person. In some ways, it can. In other ways, it probably won't.

It is my opinion that the way we are has more influence on the type of music that we listen to than music influences the way we are.

Yes, when I listen to a slow country song it makes me depressed and sad! I think if you really like a band their views can influence the way you view things also.

ya. i do believe it can. i often use it to control myself. For example when i'm feeling sad or loose my spirit, i will listen to the hard or fast beat. while when i feel angry, i will calm myself a bit with the cooler or softer one. :)
