the backbone of this nation is sadly not a real backbone. this is why the illegal mexican aliens and muslims are slowly working their way in. no party in this nation has any backbone, and those who do are called "extremists", or "racists", or "bigots", etc, by the "politically correct" people who have no backbones. seems like if a white/christian/american tries to stand up for himself, then the rest try to accuse him till he sits down. as far as im concerned, no one deserves reparations for Americas past. especially since the mexicans arent the first to own the land. the Spanish had it after the natives. anyone who calls himself mexican therefore instead of "native" did not own that land first. who is the real slave in America?

First lesson of history: land belongs to whomever can take it and hold it. The only issue I have with your argument is the Christian part. In today vernacular Christian has a specific meaning of Conservative Evangelical Fundamentalist. That definition is no where to the Christian notation of the majority of people who settled here. Also our founders were not Christian, there were Deist. The term Christian used in the discussion of our founders is a far loser term then what we have today. I'd strongly suggest you read Thomas Pain. It is available. I might also suggest you read the notes concerning the Jefferson Bible, and too Ben Franklin's autobiography. However, the real focal point for the GOP today should not be Ronald Reagan, but Teddy Roosevelt. If you could find your way to emulate him, and his "square deal" then you would have something worth using as a wedge against today political nonsense from both parties.

Slaves? I'll tell you a story about slaves! My Great grandfather was a Chief of the Cherokee. The Government told him they were going to bring in Gov. supplies. But what my Grandfather didn't know, was that the paper he signed was a signature signing away the Cherokee land! The Cherokee were forced to wear white mans clothes, and live as the white man. What the "Government" didn't know, was that the Cherokee kept excellent records of what happened, when, where, and details. We have a government law suit going on, but we

I hate to say it, but it is like that because white people are the dominant culture.
Since we are the dominant culture, we have to please all the other cultures in the country. If we don't then all hell breaks lose. "The rest" also include white/christian/americans, too. If anyone deserves reparations for the past, it is the natives.

There are two kinds of slaves--1st the ones you talk about, hard working people who pay into s.s. and medicare all their working lives only to see it given way to people who don't belong here and aren't even Americans or to people who just want something for nothing.

2nd kind are the people who have been convinced that life is hopeless and that they can't make it on their own with out some kind of gov. program or assistance. These people are vote slaves. They vote for who is promoting these programs.

in case your training point is previous grade college, you would recognize that that isn't the case. diverse areas of our usa has many diverse cultures and communities that assisted in shaping usa of america right now. Our usa has replace into "large" based on the accomplishments and achievements of many a human beings. no longer basically blacks or African "slaves". Slaves have been portion of our countries history, yet no longer the only beginning place of the entire usa.

lets carry this one step further. native americans (american indian) are the ones who have suffered the most at the hands of invaders. they are the true "owners" of the soil, although their belief was that the land belongs to all. in reality, theirs was a true communistic society. (from each according their ability, to each according to their need) note that this is not the same thing as communism as practiced in russia, china, etc. if reparations are warranted, it is the native americans who should get them.
