I dont know the x and y intercept but this looks like a simultaneous equation to me.
The second equation is two times the first one.
So,
2(2x+3y) = 2(6) = 4x+6y = 12
So 12 = 12

The x-intercept is where y=0, so, using either equation, plug 0 in for y. Using the first, this give you 2x=6, divide by 2 to get x=3. The y-intercept is where x=0, so plugging 0 in for x gives 3y=6. Divide by 3, y=2. Not sure if this is what you're going for...good luck!

I'm not sure what you mean by solving using the x and y intercept.. These two equations describe the same line. You can tell because if you multiply the first equation by -2 and add it to the second equation you'll get 0=0.
When both variables drop out and you have a true statement left at the end, there are infinitely many solutions and the two equations will draw a single line.

The 2nd equation is just the 1st equation multiplied by 2. So I think it's the same line.

If you solve for y in the 1st equation and substitute it into the 2nd equation, you'll see that 12=12.

2x+3y=6
4x+6y=12
both the equations are same and they are equation of same line.
If it intercept x -axis then y=0 and put the value of y in any equation,you will get x=3
If it intercept y -axis then x=0 and put the value of x in any equation,you will get y=2

Hence the line intercept at two point namely (3,0) and (0,2)

Is it two different questions? do you want to solve them simultaneously? it so you can't because they are the same. to find the x and y intercept for both individually you make the x=0 or the y=0
eg. to find the x-intercept, make y=0 and visa versa

2x+3y=6
2x+3(0)=6
2x=6
x=3

do the same for the rest!

2x+3y=6
4x+6y=12 ...........divide the eq. by 2.
we have,
2x+3y=6
2x=6-3y..........................(1)
place this value in 2x+3y=6
2x+3y=6
6-3y+3y=6
6=6
6-6=0.
