It seems it's impossible without sounding over-dramatic, or cliche. Give it a shot, I'll be the judge.

Love has many definitions. Love is when you see someone and you get so nervous or excited that your stomach aches. It is when the one you love touch your hand and the hairs on your neck stand up. It is when you look at that person, you see the love in their eyes. It is when you allow that person to eat your last bite of food. It is when you think about that person even when you are not trying too. When you hear his/her voice you can close your eyes and see then in front of you. When you love somebody, you will do anything to make them happy. Love is when the bad things about your mate surface, and you can still see the things you fell in love with. When you are separated from that person, you can't wait to get back to them. Love is patient, and kind, it does not faulter, it does not hurt. LOVE DOES NOT HURT. That is a portion of my definition of LOVE. Take care.

Love is alot of things that different people experience, and noone the same. For me though it is:
Being able to talk about anything and everything without judging one another.
Being able to be yourself around the person.
Smiles on your faces whenever they are around.
Knowing you're cared about and could do anything in the world but they would still be there for you no matter what.

Love is more than a feeling, It is wanting to be with that person all the time. Love is what you want to do with and for that person, which it anything and everything to make then happier in everday life. And enjoying everyday life being with the one they love.

self sacrifice, respect, generally caring for someone else just as much and sometimes more than you care about yourself

without getting too churchy...think about "God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son" now that is love....and it is a level of love that I am not sure I will ever achieve myself because I am not sure I could ever give up one of my children for anyone. I would give up my own life for my husband or my children or various other people that I love, but would I give up one of their lives for the other....I am not sure I could.

Love can never be expressed in words. It's a wonderful feeling which can only be experienced.

It's a cliche but it's true.

You will know it when it hits you and there are NO words that can describe it.
