We have been looking at real estate for several months now and I have noticed that almost every single home has a room decorated as a nursery. Is this for real or is it staged to make it more appealing to a young couple or growing family? I think it is marketing but my husband thinks that every single seller really does have a crib aged child.

Hmmm...would this be viewed differently depending on the amount of bedrooms? These are 4 bedroom homes we are looking at and every furnished one that we have seen (and we have seen a lot!) has a room like this. It just seems odd that all these homes have infants.

Generally a stager will never stage a nursery unless the home is lived in and they already have a nursery set up. Staging one limits the appeal to families with no children or teens. A staged home should appeal to all possible family combinations.
