It's amazing what people will believe if the media tells them to, without facts, or even when the known facts contradict them.
People believe that Clinton was persecuted merely about sex, but the facts one can get on the internet show that he was sued for Sexual Harassment, and to hinder prosecution of that case, he lied under oath and encouraged others to do so. That's what he was impeached for, not sex. That's what he surrendered his law license in Arkansas in lieu of disbarment, not sex.
People believe that the USSC appointed Bush in 2000, even though the opinions are easily available on the internet, and show that they didn't do any such thing, but did in fact prevent the FSC from appointing Al Gore.
People believe that Bush is corrupt because the media keeps saying he lied to get us into Iraq, but the facts are otherwise. Hampered by a lack of human intelligence capability which was deliberately destroyed by Carter, he had less than perfect information, but he didn't fabricate anything.
People think he's corrupt because Halliburton is a company that makes a profit on large scale construction projects and is making profits in Iraq. Just saying "Halliburton" has become code for "I hate Bush, don't you?". Would you prefer Halliburton not be involved and we just hire jackleg contractors to build bridges? Someone is going to do it, no one will do it under cost, the alternative is to not have the projects done at all.
People think he's corrupt because of the CBS Awol memos. They were obvious fakes to anyone who served in the military as an officer, because the content and style were simply wrong for a military officer's memo. The person that wrote them would never reach the rank of Major.
All that aside, he might well be a corrupt politician, but there hasn't been a shred of evidence presented, nothing like the evidence there was against Clinton for selling Secret technology to the North Koreans and Chinese, renting out the White House like it was Motel6, and we never did get any answers about the cattle futures, which were an obvious $100,000 bribe even if we don't know what the bribe was for, and how come everyone else involved in Whitewater went to jail but not Hillary, who was the lawyer for the deal and the smartest person involved?
You people need a dose of reality. You aren't going to get it from the NY Times or CBS.

All presidents cannot tell 100% of the truth all of the time and Bush is part of this legacy; however, I do not think that Bush is corrupt. He tries very hard to protect America and not too many people understand his motives. Unfortunately he has surrounded himself with people that are less than adept at their jobs and his loyalty to them goes beyond what is good for him and the country.

I dint know actually about Bush. But I know about politics. In India if one wants to contest as MLA he has to spend 50 lakes. For MP he has to spend 2 cores. You cannot expect that he will be uncorrupted in future. In the same way you can compare the Election expenses and can decide.

Yes I think he is corrupt.
I remember a quote:-
"Power does not corrupt men; fools, however, if they get into a position of power, corrupt power." -George Bernard Shaw
Bush is the Best example.
To be corrupt is:- Not to do whats some one ought to do.

Absolutely !!!!
If he wasn't protected by the lame Republicans in Congress he would have been behind bars by now.
I think the term is aiding and abetting a criminal -- The GOP has no morals and like any street gang is only out for themselves.
