I don't know that I would have done things differently, except I probably would have told Afghanistan to either give up the terrorists, or be nuked.

If I had been president there would have been one of two different paths.
If I had been instructed by my masters, the Illuminati, that 9/11 must take place, and I must ignore all the warnings, then I would have instructed the CIA to produce a better plan so that all the loopholes were filled.
Anybody who isn't completely naive, would have known that someone in the public would realise that the only way to destroy the towers was by controlled demolition, so I would have had them plan a story which told how Muslims had arranged the controlled demolition. Then I wouldn't have had all the hassle with missing planes, and hijackers suddenly coming back to life, and all the other currently unanswered questions.
On the other hand, if I had decided that I did not want 9/11 to happen, then I would have closed down the entire CIA for its treasonous plan.

Shortly after 9/11 George Bush made the decision to go into Afghanistan and go after the perpetrator Usama Bin Ladin, he had a 80% approval rating and a 90% approval to go after Usama. Many of the country's of the world also approved. He has squandered all of that with his criminal and corrupt attack on the people of Iraq. I would say that I would have done exactly what he done in the days following 9/11 without starting a war that had little support in the world and has been losing support since the beginning in this country. Iraq was a huge mistake that he is not done being held accountable for

I would have deported any and everyone who has ties with the Middle East. Needless to say there would be no more immigration from Middle Eastern Countries.
If this would have happened before 9/11, 9/11 may well have not happened.
Hind sight? Not really. I would have done this many years ago. Now goodness gracious that would not have been Politically Correct would it?

I would've prioritised catching bin Laden over securing Iraq's oil.
I also wouldn't have sat there for 15 minutes in a photo-op whilst the country that the supreme court elected me to lead was under attack.
Oh, and I wouldn't of used my address to the nation on the fifth anniversary of 9/11 to promote a war that had nothing to do with it.

I would have done the exact same thing as Bush did, except now our troops would be home and I would be worrying about our country and our issues rather than fixing Iraq's government. It is not our country and we don't need to be over their "fixing" their government. It's not ours to fix. We do however have the right to kill the s**t out of any terrorists that are a threat to our country.

I'd have put the CIA to work finding Osama bin Laden and other terrorist cells. I'd have avoided grandstanding and making myself (and my country) out to be the world's policemen. And I'd have capitalized on the goodwill that was generated by countries around the world, large and small, by meeting with them outside the limelight and obtaining their help in my covert efforts to battle terrorism.

I don't know that I would have acted any differently. We have the benefit of 20/20 Hindsight. It's unfair and unrealistic for someone to say what they would have done, because they know more now than the people who were making the decisions did then.

I would have had a successful negociation with Afghanistan and they would have turned over Osama bin Laden and his co-horts.
I would have had a successful disarmament of Saddam Hussein and reinstated UN Sanctions and a proper democracy which would have him ousted and tried without a war.
