I guess the teacher forgot the part about God's love for all. Be the best you can be whether it is as a gay man or not. I personally believe that life is what you make it and the Bible ,( while a good guide) is just a work of fiction like any other book. Life is about choices , you know in your heart what is right for you, the teacher probably supports the death penalty as well although the Bible says "thou shalt not kill". Treat others as you want to be treated and if there is a God, he/she will know you have a good heart.

Ooh... Tough question. Please don't take any offense at what I say, I'm not trying to be like a condemning 'Christian' who can't handle anything outside of what is the 'norm.'

No........ I don't believe that God burns gays in hell... However, if you believe that the Bible is correct in all it says, then you would know that Homosexuality is a sin (Leviticus 18:22), right? However, if you believe the Bible, everyone sins. And since everyone sins, we are all guilty.

The Bible teaches us that God loves us; therefore He sent His Son to die for us, so that we may have eternal life in Heaven (Jn. 3:16). I think it is possible to be a new Christian and yet be gay, but it should not last in your whole Christian walk. It is a sin, like swearing or defiling your body (ex: smoking, getting drunk) that you can work on slowly, to be rid off. But you have to ask for God's help in this matter, because you cannot handle this alone.

I hope I've helped in this issue...

Prayers!

why do we look up to God if he has so much hate? he doesn't hate gay people, if he did, he would have destroyed us a long time ago. there is nothing wrong with you, so why should you change? because the church says its wrong? why not let God decide that for himself?
he made you the way wanted you to be, changing yourself is going against him. prove to yourself and everyone else how strong God's love is by being yourself.

If God exists, God has created you. There is nothing wrong with being gay. Did you know that it is only for a couple of centuries that being gay is condemned in the western society? And that being gay is perfectly natural, and not only human?
Don't worry too much about it. Your teacher is trying to indoctrinate you. There is nothing wrong with love, no matter what sex we are talking about.

If you believe in GOD and believe that he created all people than YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT HE CREATED YOU THE WAY YOU ARE. Why would your GOD create something that he hates?

Does that make sense to you?

My advice to you is that YOU do not need to change, you need to change your religion. Start believing in a GOD that actually loves people and is not so picky, if you must believe in a GOD at all.

Always remember you were born the way you are. Nothing and no one should expect you to change that.

If you look, there are religions that accept all kinds of people, not only ones that follow certain specifications. You just need to find them!

God is a loving God and does not hate anyone. He hates the sin that we commit, but does not see sin differently, for example a little white lie is a lie, all sin is bad to God. It is wrong for any member of a church to tell anyone that God hates them, we need to teach about our loving God. I am judged by the same God as you even though I am not gay. Pray that God will heal you from this sin, God can and will take the desire away from you to be in love with the same sex. Don't let anyone ever tell you that God hates you because He could not nor would He ever hate anyone.

If your being serious, then please listen. Don't let anyone tell you that you have to change who you are.
If you love guys, then that's who you are meant to be. It is a personal decision whether or not you believe that God hates gays, or if you believe in God at all.
Don't let someone elses beliefs get you confused, and worried.
Be proud to be gay. Tell those losers to go pick on somebody else.

There is no hell. It is some fictitious analogy created to scare the crap out of people in an attempt to get them to conform to societal norms.

You are who you are. Do not attempt to change yourself or you will live your life miserably. Homosexuality is not a disease and it will not 'go away' if you ignore it. Stive to be your own person and to be happy, regardless of what your tunnel visioned bible teacher says.

God put gay people on the earth to test all the bigots. Gays won't burn in hell, but all the haters will.
