Anyone can make themselves into who they wish to be. You are who you are because of your actions. If you don't like yourself, you, and only you, have the power to change your life.

I hope your happy with yourself, but if not, today is the 1st day of your new life.

I don't believe that all. You don't have to be who people say you are. You may have someone call you worthless but that doesn't mean you are. Haven't you heard the stories of the people who go from "rags to riches"? There is always a way to change but the thing is you have to want to change. You have to have a desire to change. When you DESIRE something, you want it so bad that you will do whatever you have to acheive it. If you desire to change then don't let anyone tell you that you can't because you can. How old are you? Who told you that you have to FIT IN with anybody. Be who you are inside. If it is goth then be goth. Be whoever you want to be. You don't have to fit in with no one. You have to be happy. We are not on this earth to make other people happy because that is something we will never acheive that. There will always someone who doesn't like who you are. Please Yourself and not anybody else. Take care.

Blessed are the misfits honey! One day you will be appreciated because you are different. It's true that you are your own person underneath.. You just have to find who that is and be really true to it, no matter what anybody else thinks of it. You will find there is a small amount of people who see beyond wrapping & they will dig you for your interests & heart as long as you are not a phoney.
(as long as you are not a serial killer of course) Even outsider trends are comformist to some extent. If you are into goth stuff because that's who you feel you are, if you're comfortable with certain aspects of it, do it but don't look for an 'outsider' group just to try and be someone. I was always popular but I never felt like I fit in and I still don't but I am really comfortable with that. Don't dumb yourself down to fit in. Whatever you feel is you, express it.

I think most people are like this yet we figure out how to comply with the world. As long as you are happy with yourself then do not worry about fitting in with people. when you fit in it makes you kinda like a robot ya know.I do not know if you believe in god or not but maybe you should try to see how you feel at a church.Give that a chance. that is how i became part of the world not just my own world.back to your real question, yes we can change it. you just have to honestly try.

you can absolutely make changes to yourself. sometimes you have to do and think things and act ways that feel totally unnatural to you to change a view or behavior. I'm guessing you're a reserved person who keeps to yourself. you need to force yourself, and I do mean force, to be outgoing and talkitive. I sure did and I became very popular in school. I never sold myself out. inside I am the same person. I never pretend to be someone I'm not but I fight the urge to isolate. In time it becomes natural. you will automatically draw friends that are like yourself. YOU have to make it happen!
you may also benefit from medication. tell a doctor how you feel. let him decide. It's not a sign of weakness. NOT doing it is.

go for it
