If you were to make a movie cast for the movie Brave New World who would it be?

No, no, I think the role of Bernard Marx should be someone younger than Tom Hanks. This is a highly intelligent young nonconformist who senses there's more to life than immediate pleasures and mass consumption, that's why he sets all these wheels in motion. Maybe Elijah Wood would do that role instead of the role of The Savage, although I agree he would be brilliant as either. I'm thinking maybe it would be really cool to have Bernard and the Savage look a lot alike, too. Maybe Tobey Maguire as Bernard and Elijah Wood as John the Savage? Or Elijah Wood as Bernard and Daniel Radcliffe as John?

Unfortunately, both the women's roles in this story are very flat, nondimensional. Any pretty young thing will for the girl Bernard's trying to impress. You don't need Kate Bosworth or Scarlett Johannsen, so why would you strain the budget?

Ditto for the mom. It specifically says she'd gotten fat and "old"; apparently that's no longer allowed in the "civilized" world, so any heavyset lady in her 40s who looks like she's been rode hard and hung up wet will do.

i think scarlett johansson could play lenina crowne pretty well. and tom hanks as hemholtz watson. cant think of actors for the other characters at the moment
