Supposedly Nicole Richie threw a party and played the Paris sex tape and made fun of her .It got back to Paris and they were no longer friends.Paris and Nicole won't tell the media anything except to say they don't like each other.Nicole was recently on Larry King Live and said that Paris constantly crank calls her cell phone.

I like both of the girls, however I like Paris a tad bit better. I do not know the whole story or any of it except that Paris said that the publicity got to Nicole's head.

Well, paris (being the beotch she is) made sum racist comments about black people. And since Nicole Richie is part black, she took offense bcuz she thought that she and Paris were friends, she felt hurt. Now they're not friends anymore.

On one of the simple life episodes Paris said that Fame got to Nicoles head... I personally Love Nicole and if it wasn't for Nicole that show "simple life" wouldn't be half as good... NICOLE RICHIE ROCKS!

i have said since day one it is a publicity stunt. they never gave a reason for their "breakup" and all paris would say is "nicole knows what she did." it was convenient that their fight started right before the latest season of the simple life was to premiere. and they left the show as a cliff hanger with the confrontation yet to happen. now everyone wants to know and i think after the next season, they will be "friends" again.

I heard somewhere that Paris was heard calling a black on a video tape 'a stupid N*****' . And Nicole heard about it and was pissed.
But who knows!! It could be a stunt for publicity too- Ever heard of 'Frenemies'? Really friends but hate each other in public.
