I believe every school should have screening for weapons. Then all schools should be in lock down during school hours. All schools should have uniform police, or have parents that have been screened to patrol the schools.

Well we can start by being more active in the school process. That mean parents going to student teacher meetings and getting involved in the schools there children attend. We can also start teaching a sense of responsibility to the children of the world. Parents need to govern there children at home and teach them right from wrong and not just leave it up to society to do for them. Parents need to put away there busy schedules and stop worrying about what there status is in society or how much money there making and take on the role of parent. Children who do these kinds of acts (shooting, stabings...etc.) are less likely to behave in that manner if the parent was more aware of what the child was doing, watching or listening to.

There is nothing we can do. I raised my children already, but if I had any school age children today I would home school them.
Schools are no longer safe and I would not subject my children to the violence, mayhem and bullying they have in todays schools. You can find info about home schooling on the Internet.

I went to this school once that had meddle detectors that every student had to walk through in the morning when entering school to make sure there were no knifes or weapons. Also chaining the doors after school started. It sounds a little strict but that's the way it has to be now a days.

You can have all the metal detectors and cops you want but ultimately we have lost a wholesomeness that quite frankly we need to revisit. This starts with family values which stems from a type of spiritual connection.

P.R.A.Y. The only thing I think will make a difference is prayer.
Many private schools are too expensive and public schools are trash. What's our choice?!?

Not going hysterical and overeacting to astronomically rare events seems a fine way to start.
