How old are you, dear? I think there is a lower age limit for this site. Check the Community Guidelines.

Anyway, babies come from a special womb (not a womb with a view) in their mommy's tummy. It's warm and quiet (well, usually quiet. They can hear the stereo if you turn it up, so be sure to play quality music.) and soft and moist, and they float in a sac. In fact, if you get a DVD of 2001, A Space Odyssey, there's a picture at the end of the Star Child. It's really just a picture of a baby in a womb. We understand it to be the Star Child because it is floating in space.

As to how the baby got in there, that's complicated. It came indirectly, with a whole lot of sperm from Daddy entering and racing to the prize, the egg Mommy's body prepared just for them. The winner takes all, as it were. The sperm and the egg together start to grow and take shape as a baby, but it takes 9 months.

All in all, it is magic, is what it is. Everyday magic, but no less magic for that.

hmmm if you're old enough to be typing this question and don't know the answer...that's sad...and I'm not answering it for you.
