Well, I had not started my period in about 2 weeks. I never really thought of the possibility that I might be pregnant because my periods are not very regular. So I bought a digital pregnancy test thinking let's get this out of the way because I know I'm not pregnant and took it the next morning while I was getting ready for work. I was still sitting on the toilet and actually wiping myself when I looked at the test and it read "PREGNANT" in big bold letters. I almost fell over!! It had only been 10 seconds! I didn't know what to do. I just sat on the toilet and stared at the stick thinking the word "NOT" would pop up in front of "PREGNANT". Then I guess I got really nervous and started to cry because we were in the process of planning a wedding and I thought my family and his family would frown upon the fact that I was pregnant before being married. My husband works 3rd shift so I waited until he got home to tell him. He was in complete shock! He didn't believe me until I showed him the test which still read "PREGNANT". Then the excitement came. A couple days later all of a sudden my breasts started to hurt so bad and in the mornings I felt yucky so I knew it was true. In May I had a wonderful baby girl and in August we got married. Now we are a happy little family. The End! :)

My husband and I tried everything known to man to get pregnant. Infertility treatmet for 5 years including 2 IFV attempts two miscarrages, No baby! Everything put such a strain on our marriage we seperated for almost a year. We kept in touch and still visited each other, but we were exhausted, disappointed, and tired of personal invasion by drs, nurses, lab tech and everyone else in the medical world. Sex only for conceiving, needles, more needles, hormones, emotions, it's tiring. We got back together knowing we would never have a child of our own. The drs had told us I was unable to have a baby of our own. We decided NO MORE treatments, NO MORE drs. We were happy just being together. About four months later I woke up in the middle of the night and got very sick. I swore I smelled chemicals burning in the house. I woke my husband up and he said it was nothing, go back to sleep. The next day I was talking with my mom and she said did the same thing with all three of us kids. Still, no one thought I could get pg, so on went life..... until I started throwing up every evening around 6:00. I went to the store and bought a EPT just in case but knowing it would be negative. Well, surprise...... two lines. I thought it must be wrong.... four tests later I was calling the doctor. I was six weeks pregnant. You could imagine the surprised look on my husbands face when I told him. Now we struggle everyday with the fear of loosing another child.

I was told by a fertility specialist that I wouldn't get pregnant and that I should expect peri-menopause real soon. So when one month I spotted and then nothing for the next two, that was what I thought was happening. By the third month I started to feel very bloated and I started to worry about cancer so I went to the doctor. He said that he would need to do a pregnancy test first to rule it out. I was convinced that it would just be ruled out - so, you can imagine my surprise when I was told that I was very pregnant (12 weeks, to be exact). I don't remember my first words to myself, just the feeling that I had. It was just an amazing feeling of having something that I thought I would never have, a true miracle after 8 years of heartbreak. I couldn't wait to tell my husband who was at work so I left a message for him to call me on the cell phone because I had to go to the mall. He called me back while I was at the mall and I told him to start looking at mini vans. He asked why and I told him -him in the lab at work and me in the mall. Too funny when I look back at it.

Lol I was in church on Mother's Day, and the pastor asked all the mothers to stand up. Well, DH and I had been somewhat trying for our first for more than a year (that is, I had stopped birth control and we were just sort of waiting to see when it happened, we weren't charting body temps or taking ovulation tests or anything like that). I wasn't even due for my period yet, I was expecting it in the next couple of days. But, when the pastor asked that, I just had this feeling like I should stand up. I sort of laughed to myself and decided that, hey - if I were pregnant, wouldn't it be fun to find out on Mother's Day? So I stopped on the way home from church pick up a home test, just to see - fully expecting it to be negative. I hadn't had any symptoms at all, and it was still to early for me to be late - the only reason it even occurred to me to take a test was that it was Mother's Day...why not! It caught me completely off guard when it came out positive, clear as day! I had to make up an excuse to bring dinner to my husband at the hospital where he was working to tell him. :)

my husband and I started trying in February, this year, for our 2nd. We decided to take a break in March to avoid the whole "Christmas birthday". I had enough of my 3 1/2 year old and told my husband to call his parents, she can spend the night there, her first night ever spending away from home. We had to attend my husbands work party that night anyways.
Needless to say, we made a baby that night. I felt nauseas and sore nipples. I found out on Good Friday, kept it a secret for 2 days and tested again on Easter Sunday. I made my husband a card from my daughter saying "Guess what the Easter Bunny and Santa teamed up to get me this year? " He had to open up a flap and it said "A baby brother or sister, due Christmas Eve 2006".
So because we wanted to avoid that christmas baby, we are due Christmas Eve!

I went to a public toilet and took the test while my boyfriend (now my hubby) waited outside in the car. 1 line meant negative and 2 lines meant positive. I did the test and only 1 line appeared. I thought i would play a trick on my boyfriend and i took the test out and handed it to him and i said 1 line means its positive. He looked at me a little dissapointed and said oh so its negative then coz there are 2 lines on this one... i looked back and nearly fell over..there were now 2 lines. haha my trick backfired big time and i then had to convince him that i was indeed pregnant haha

Acutally I didn'tknow till I was almost 11 weeks pregnant.....
I felt the usual PMS symptoms so I thought it was just that time of the month.......
AND the reason why I didn't know is because I usually get my period every OTHER month if I'm lucky and I'm so irregular I don't know when it's coming or going.....
so I just happened to do my yearly physical at the doctor's and she took my blood test just for the sake of it and tested it for pregnancy......

I was watching wrestling with my husband asleep on the floor. I happened to look down at my stomach and I noticed a brown line on my stomach. I took a test and it came back positive so I drove 20 minutes to the nearest store to get another one. I took it and it came back positive. So I woke up my husband and told him. He went back to sleep. Should have known by his reaction how it would turn out. We are now divorced but I have my 5 year old daughter.
