They are our ally.
We cannot fight everyone.

EDIT - the question should be - why is our ALLY not doing more to find Bin Laden?

Why would the US want to invade Pakistan? They have a weak central government, political instability, they are are cross-hairs with India, an unstable economy. What we should do is let Pakistan and India beat the hell out of each other for the next several years. However if we invade, we become liable to sustain their economy, accept countless more immigrants under pretexts, and we will be forced into learning a new language...In Florida many people speak Pakistani just to be able to buy gas. It is time for the US to become wise, hunker back and let other people do the fighting...we don't need to dictate politics, and we don't need the financial burden of an endless war without resolution.

There are many reasons. Pakistan speaks English. USA is not yet over the historical belief that Pakistan could be a counter weight to huge India. Pakistan has the bomb. USA believes that Pakistan can be talked out of the situation. USA is also unsure that the marriage between Russia and India has ended. But ultimately, in the next 5 years, USA will surely take a stand - most likely to attack or bring to book.

I don`t understand why a nation has to invade another when they have problems. If everybody starts invading everybody, this is a global massacre.
OK, terrorists, especially B. Laden, are a very serious problem. Anyway, I don`t justify invasions.

I don't think that Pakistan needs to be invaded. Did they do anything to us?

I don't think so.

If Pakistan dare to refuse this so called war on terror against US (also this war was one of US policies on muslim countries only),Bush will try to bomb Pakistan also.

Because of Pakistan's nuclear power, US cannot do any decision madly.
