My best friend is so greedy. He is having a birthday party this weekend and me and my girlfriend were suppose to come, but at the last minute, he made it so it would be difficult for her to come. She said that she could still come. I think he decided he doesn't want my girlfriend to come because I think he thinks that me and my girl will hang out and pay no attention to him. Me and my girl sat and told him, that it was his birthday party and we would pay attention to him. He said that that wasn't the reason. This girl is his best friend by the way. He still said he wanted her to give him something. He said that she NEEDED to get him a brand new now 22 cd. Would any of you take any of his crap from him? Would you still get him a gift if you were her? I swear, he is so greedy, selfish and inconsiderate.

yes he's greedy but there has to be something that you guys like about him or else you wouldn't go through all the twists and turns he's putting you through. a cd isn't that big but maybe you guys should find out why he's trying to keep her from the party. maybe he knows something that you don't know.

He is just a user and if the both of you still think he is a friend, there must be something more to it.
I would say good-by. One thing is to be greedy, and I can accept that but another thing is to be a user.
This is not a healthy friendship relationship. To ask for a gift is something else.
Good Luck with the party. By the way if you decide to go to his party I would bring him a nice book on friendship. Tell him that you did find the Cd .
