So then we (My Husband & I) wanted to see for sure (He was sure that I am!!) if I was pregnant. So, I went an got a E-P-T last night, (I didnt want to take it till this morning because I really didnt have to pee AND I figures, if the other test were soooo faint I needed to have a first morning pee) But my Husband insisted that I take it last night, the EPT said negative....... Now I dont know what to think. So all you ladies with pregnancy experiaence, please share it! What;s up with me???

I got a positive result 8 days before my missed period with my current pregnancy. With my first I didnt get a positive till two days after my missed period. The line with this pregnancy was so faint I had to ask people if I was seeing things. Try waiting a couple more days and retest. The EPT test might not have picked up a low enough hcg reading and that's why you're getting a negative. The other one may detect the hormone sooner. I want to say that it would be the test is bad but it's nearly impossible to get a false positive..that's my understanding anyways. Just want a couple of days and retest. Best of luck!!

How long was a "while"? If you let the test sit too long, an evaporation line can show up and mislead you to believe you're pregnant. Most tests say that you can get an answer as early as 60 seconds, but wait for a full 3 minutes or so to develop. After 10 minutes, you should throw it away.

When I got pregnant I had to take like 7 tests. Every one came back with a faint plus. I think you should take another test. Best 2 out of 3 :-). Or got see your OBGYN.

I haven't been pregnant but i know a lot about that stuff.....I'd say your not pregnant because the first one was really faint and that second one came out negative. Also, you need to take it about 1 week afterward to know the real answer and beening one day late is normal sometimes...yeah

wait 9 days and buy a better test and repeat the test but do the test first thing in the morning when you get up and go to the bath room as stress cand illness can through your cycle off.

well i have 4 kids and my last test came back with only a feint line 9 months later my little boy was born, i'd check with ur doc to be sure

Sounds like you may be. I would say give it a week to be certain (may be use a more sophisticated/expensive test) then check with your doctor. If you are congratulations!!! If you're not...have fun trying (if you are trying). Wish you the best either way...

you might be pregnant and you might not.. give it a couple of more days. Sometimes it takes a little longer to detect. Don't worry about it. just be patient always do it in the morning.

If one came out positive you are in fact pregnant .You can have false negatives but never a false positive.....(unless of course you had a miss carriage in the past couple of days )

u ARE pregnant. I had a very very faint pos on 2 tests. sure enough, im now 7 weeks!!!
