Right-click on file and choose open with... I think if you go to Choose From List you can set a new program as default.

I had this problem too. Okay, first find where the picture is stored (probaby " My Documents> My Pictures) right click on the picture and the first item in the list should say "Open with Fotoshop (or someting similar) The very last thing in the list should be "Properties". Click this and you will se a "opens with" and a change button. You can click that button and choose whichever program you wish to use to open the pic w/ from whatever program you have that will allow picture viewing. Just try it out till you find what you want it to open with. You can even open it in Paint. Hope this helps!

Hold the shift key while right clicking the file... a Open with... option should appear on the drop down menu. Go to it and click Choose Program... before choosing a program make sure the "always use this program for this kind of file" tick box is checked.
Lo and Behold.. all files which you click will be opened by the program you chose.

Before you totally mess your pc up with some of these dumb answers, right click on the file and "open with" and "choose program". You will also find a box to check if you desire to make this the default viewer.

Right-click on it and say properties. It will say on the top of the new window "opens with" or something like that. Click on change, and then then select what you want.

you could proper-click on the image and choose "Open With", Then once that software is open, you probable would have a call to make it the default software to any extent further. maximum classes have settings to analyze and be conscious that they are the default software everytime an image is opened. or you could proper click on the image and modify record association.
