This question has been done SOOOO many times!
1. The pill alters your hormones, hence the possibility of weight gain
2. Not all pills have this side effect so discuss with your doctor what will be best for you (you know, the DOCTOR, the person who gives you the prescription for your pill?!)
3. Whats so bad about a bit of extra weight? Jeez, I was ecstatic when I put on some weight and actually grew t*its and a proper sized a*rse
4. Read the instruction booklet in your pill pack as it explains everything

The truth with the pill putting on weight, it only puts on about 5-7 lbs a YEAR. If you are putting on more, you would need to talk to your doctor and get them changed.

I've never been on the pill. I do Depo and it didn't make me gain at all. I guess it all depends on the person. Most people gain about 5 pounds anyways. Big deal. You can gain 5 pounds not being on the pill. Or gain 50 being pregnant. Which would you rather have?
