If they are Real Leather(Natural-Not Sealed) try rubbing some fine Oil into them!(Olive or peanut Oil)
Not too Much but just enough to be absorbed into the leather!
Then wear them round the house to break them in!

A small amount of oil and frequent use around the house to break them in. But I need to warn you now, if they are fabric, avoid the oil! This can ruin the instep, possibly stain and make them uncomfortable if not unusable all together. If they are leather, use an oil that is labeled for use with leather. Either way, the walking to break them in should be frequent yet in intervals of 30-45 minutes as not to force the fabric or leather which can ruin the boot quickly by seperating the upper fabric and the sole.
Once they stop squeaking and fit more comfortably, don't worry much! But do take care of them, lol.

Pay off your credit card bill!!
My Gran used to say that new shoes will squeak until you've paid for them, and I guess credit doesn't count. The squeak knows the difference.
