They usually say 6 weeks for vaginal deliveries. I would say since you delivered c section that you should wait until your incisions are healed. You don't want to have them get infected or risk opening the area. They say 6 weeks for vaginal because of all the trauma your body just went through. Remember just because you feel great on the outside doesn't mean you are ready on the inside. Good way to test the waters is start having sex and if it hurts stop and then try again in a couple days!

After a you stop breast feed to the child. Because the emotions for sex and breast feeding are exactly opposite and it may probably suppress the lactation. Rest of the life is more than enough for enjoying sex, but this is the only time to nourish the child. It is the matter of his future because mother's milk provides the best immunity to a child.

They say 6 weeks but many woman are still very tender even after the 6 weeks. I would wait 6 weeks and then go from there.
Every woman is different.

My significant other was told 6 weeks,but she was still pretty tender at that point.It was a little over seven in reality.And it was a cautious affair that required some inventiveness for some time after wards
