This is for Le Rat who mentioned the 50s on my last cartoon question. And all the other people who remember the days of yore when TV first began.
I thought this would be another good question to ask. Considering we only had Black & White TVs in the good ole days.

A little before my time born in 61. I think Walt Disney Steam Boat Willy w/ Mickey Mouse was from the 50's. That's the only only I remember seeing when I was a kid. Others i've seen since Amos & Andy, Betty Boop, Mutt & Jeff.

Come on guys, can't anyone remember "I Love Lucy". I know it has been a staple on television for over 50 years but it did come out in the 50s.

There was also "Our Miss Brooks" with Eve Arden and Richard Crenna, "Highway Patrol" with Broderick Crawford, "Sea Hunt" with Lloyd Bridges, "The Whirlybirds", "Wyatt Earp", "Major Adams" with Ward Bond, "Dick Powell's Theater", "Dick Powell's Zane Grey Theater", "Gunsmoke" started in the 50s, Cheyenne, Sugar Foot, Law Man, "Death Valley Days"...

The list goes on forever and though many of them haven't aged very well, that was all we had and we liked it.
