Something a LOT greater. You want to hear about obstacles? Try 3 girlfriends, a wife, and dog that craps just about everywhere. Add to that, a trailer that won't stay level and a front yard filled with 4 washing machines, a Buick and 6, count em, 6 sets of golf clubs. It is nothing short of an Olympic obstacle course. Thank you for letting me vent. I feel much better now. Now where's that damn cat?

Marriage.
It's such a huge obstacle.
You can't exactly take breaks or a breather.
You're with that one person and you're in it for better or for worse.
And right now, i want to kill my husband.
He's in Egypt, i'm in Canada.
He questions me a little too much about everything and it's driving me rights.
When is caring absolute paranoia?
Because he's paranoid.
Maybe it's just because he's not around but HE CAN TRUST ME!
Without trust, relationships are so doomed.
I've never cheated on him or anything....
It's so hard being married when you're 19 years old and didn't plan for this at all.... I feel trapped. But when i'm with him, when he's actually in front of me, i feel like i could fly.
Plus, i find that it's hard to grow with him... We've been together for 3 years and we're kind of stuck.
I hate it.
My other greatest obstacle in my life is me... My procrastination, my lack of self esteem.
And it also seems as though the stairs in my university are my greatest obstacle considering i've fallen down them TWICE.

Comfort.
Shall I go out and climb the pinnacle of greatness, or shall I stay here in my nice warm bed? Ah to hell with it, the pinnacle will still be there tomorrow.
Shall I do what I need to do tomorrow today, or shall I answer cool questions? Ah, tomorrow's stuff's not urgent till tomorrow...
Essentially, yes, I'm my own greatest obstacle, but just for spite, thought I'd externalise my failings - so yes, damn that comfy bed, that big TV, that good book. How can I write the great novel of the 21st century and plumb the depths of human misery when I'm so bloody comfortable and downright happy? Inconsiderate, I call it :oD

You know most people say money or themselves or other people or some crap. You know what it really is? TIME. If we had enough TIME we could get a lot more crap done. Of course, even if we lived to be a thousand years old we'd be sitting around saying stuff like "Damn I can't wait until we get out of this little Ice Age and back into a warming period...I gotta get some gardening done up in Scandanavia and it's just not happening this century..."

The greatest obstacle isn't the fact of not knowing what is in store but for me not creating that reality beforehand. All reality is based on perception. You can live yours or someone else's.

Fear is a paralyzing obstacle, my greatest nemesis. Hard to admit here, but sometimes I'm afraid of what people will think; I'm afraid of change; I'm afraid of death and of growing old. Paradoxically, I'm afraid the best part is over and that time passes so quickly, but to be immobilized by fear means losing precious time that I could have spent really living.
'Scuse me, I have to go breathe into a paper bag.

The one hundred meter high hurdles. Ouch! I suppose I am getting older. I married late, became a father late, and I just want to be there when my twins graduate from college. I really look forward to answering your questions. I don't care about the points. I care about the questions. Our greatest obstacle is always ourselves. We can contol(ironically) everything else but us. "we have met the enemy and he is us." Howard Kelly: Pogo.

The fact that not everyone accepts me for the God that I am.
On second thought, that's humanity's greatest obstacle...
I guess mine would be distance from the one I love
