because too many people have become emo just for the look of it, not because they really are.

Because they have a reputation of being depressing and full of themselves, and wrist slashers. This obviously doesn't apply to every emo in the world, but people fit all people into one catergory normally, so if they are unusual or different, they are branded as 'bad'

Because people have a lot of preconceptions I suppose.
The concept of what it means to be emo has been misunderstood by a lot of people.

because it's become too mainstream and it's not about being different anymore when everyone is the same.
trends change with time and it appears that emos are being faded out. don't mod me down because you don't agree. i'm stating the trend in my area.

is emo an american term? just googled it and realised what you mean. emo's are ok but just a little too up their own AR*SE generally m iddle class smart ar*se university students that you just know are gonne be barristers or ceos that don't give a shi*t about humanity in a few years.

because you all go on about being individual and standing out from us meer sheep who flock around in the same clothes!!! emos dress and look the same as amos! defys the point of looking different really

people always dont like something that they dont understand
its just something you have to get used to, there will always be peopel who dont like you, and there are always going to be people who do,
i dont have a problem with anyone, unless they are directly mean to me,
other than that i see everyone as a potential friend

Personally i dont hate them i dont even dislike them. I just wish i could help them because from what ive heard, they cut themselves and stuff.

because they are different and not like them.. people are scared of change , i welcome different people and they're styles, shows that they have individuality.
