Yes it is healthier for two reasons;

1.Cigarettes contain a complex cocktail of chemicals, many of which are toxic, chemicals are added in order to make the cigarettes burn more effectively. Things like acetaldehyde and pyridine are added to enhance the effect of the nicotine on the brain, additives are added to improve flavour such as cocoa which when burned produces bromine gas that dilates the airways of the lung, there are other lovely chemicals such as formaldehyde and benzene, which themselves are known carcinogens, even arsenic is added.

2.Rolled cigarettes tend to be smaller, not as tightly packed and do not contain as much tobacco so when smoking cigarettes that are rolled a person is smoking a lot less than what they would be in a cigarette from a packet or a box that they would buy at a store.

Of course both are bad for you, you aren't an idiot and neither are smokers, but if someone is going to smoke as long as they use filters on cigarettes they roll themselves it is healthier to smoke ones you roll yourself – the smoking is just as dangerous, but you significantly cut down on the number of harmful chemicals you take into your body.

No, cuz ciggs are mass manufactured at the lowest cost possible which means the amount and quality of tobacco used are the least, and at the lower ends. Lesser tobacco= healthier tobacco, derives less satisfaction(kick), driving smokers to buy more from the manufacturer. Whereas rolled tobacco, u can stuff any amount of tobacco to give you the maximum kick.

Yes, it is healthier. Tobacco in cigarettes is treated with a variety of substances to make it: burn better, last longer, not get parasites, not get rotten. If you roll your own tobacco it'll be healthier.

yes it is true, tailor made has too many chemicals in it as rolling your own hasnt, if you leave a ciggy and a roll up lit in the ash tray, the ciggy will carrie on burning because of the chemicals in it to make it burn, but the roll up will go out as there are no chemicals in it.....

roll ups are safer... than ciggy's

If you think it is "healthier"don't be fooled I had a heart attack when I was 48years old and a triple bypass when I was 51years old I had always rolled my own and nothing else. I smoked 20 per day G/Virginia.since I was 35years old. packed it up after the operation. So pack it up because people think nothing will not happen to them but believe me it does.

normal ciggies have over 3000 chemicals in, and if you look at the size of the filters they have compared with the size of filters you get with rollies, u can see they gotta be worse

It doesn't matter what you smoke...inhaling a foreign substance and having it go into your lungs is not healthy.
