do u drink enough water because some times thats it if you get painful little bumps on the sides of your tounge it you need more hydration and it could be the tooth also put that tooth wax stuff on it and you should really get the tooth repaired on it can being 2 rot on make u sick! look back and see if you burned it! and stay away from salty foods right now they could have caused it! have a good day!!

Yep, that's probably what it is. Until you can get to the dentist, you can put dental wax over the broken tooth - it will smooth it out and therefore your tongue will heal - God bless!

This can happen if you eat too much salty foods or if you accidently burned it on some hot food. Sometimes i get this if i eat too many salty chips

Yes, your tooth could be scraping it to often. Did you burn it on soup, coffee, etc?
