Of cource when I install the php script on my website, it works well! but my php.ini configuration are not well-configured! [PS: I have Changed My PC to become like a server, so as to test scripts. so it's obvious that i have PHP installed on my pc.]

I am PHP programmer and for testing the scripts I write, I have installed the Easyphp1.8 on my pc. I hope u know what this program is! [Easyphp] have all u need to make ur pc into a Server! like PHP, Apache, Mysql, ...

But the problem is that the php.ini is configured by default, so some scripts that need some especial requirments won't work, unless u change the php.ini by yourself.

The script i'm trying to install needs the [Register_Global] to be on, and not anything else! although i've changed it to on, still i have problems. for example when I go to another page by pressing a button in the first page, the second page is not shown and says there are Undefined varibles. I'm sure something in the Php.ini must be changed!

Coz when I install such scripts on my website [www.PixSeller.com], they work well!

Waiting for ur nice answers
TNX in Advance!

Hello,
You first have to look into many requirements of the script your installing. Depending on what the script needs, is what you have to supply.

If you tell us what the *real* problem is, then we could help you.
- What is the error that you are experiencing ?
- How did you bring that error ?
- What are the steps you produced that error ?
- What type of system are you running (mem/os/hd/etc)
- What versions of software you installed (php/mysql/etc)

All those are highly dependent on your system, so currently, we have no idea what your current problem is :) Try rephrasing your sentence or visit my forum so I could help you out, or any of the other guys on-line.

Take care,
good luck

I am just a newbie in that field but i feel if u r working on a windows platform then using a wampserver for php will be he best. U can visit the site www.wampserver.com. I have used it, it gives a complete package of apache server, php, sql, myadmin.
Similar packages can be found for linux and mac platforms too they r lamp and mamp.
