I would give it up as long as I'd paid all my debts off and had enough saved to be able to retire comfortably when I reach retirement age (ie have more than state pension...).

I wouldn't like to be famous AT ALL. I think the majority of wannabee celebs (Big Brother contestant wannabees) do it to get rich. That's the only positive as far as I can see - to not have to worry about money!

Saying is one thing and going through is another. Your celeb friends probably don't realize how much they will miss things if they go for a smaller place, the things they have taken for granted and are available to them due to their status and wealth. If i was a celeb, I would definitely try seek happiness in that lifestyle. Its always the notion that grass is greener on the other side. But trust me, people being on either side of the grass feel the same for each "other side". So have not feel they should become "haves" and haves feel they should be "have nots". Thats life all about. So tell your celeb friends, rather than thinking of finding happiness in something they are not used to, they should seek happiness from what they have and be grateful to god that he has given them the opportunity to lead comfortable lives.

By no means I'm a celeb, but I do stand up comedy around my city and state and the feeling of getting recognized on the street in unbelievable. It makes you feel worth something. I know that sounds really ego filled and evil, but every celeb who gets into this business, has somewhat of a big ego.

Well i will give it up........ wat is the used of the money if u cant enjoy ur life happily...... i rather donate the money to some other charity society....... At least u do sumthing great and ppl will say thank u if u donate it........ Moreover u MIGHT have all the money and wealth but u cant have the all the happiness and health as u like........ and the complex life of celeb are kind off annoying...... and u are been watch by 100 of ppl whenever u go...... NO!!!!! But then I'm skint all the time!!! Money only changes you if you let it, but of course if that change is the bank manager leaving you alone then I'll have that.

No one forces a celebrity to be one. I agree that if you walk down a street being chased my cameras or threats to your children are unacceptable and no one should have to put up with that. But that's why if you have a lot of money you can afford bodyguards.
