My holy grail foundation has a matte finish, and my new bronzer is a gel. Can i put the bronzer on the powdery finish or will it just mess up?

Apply the foundation around the side of your nose and undereyes areas only and your bronzer can be applied on the rest.

you should wear one or the other - not both. if you go with the bronzer, i would suggest just using a translucent finishing powder over the top of it.

sometimes I put a little --EMPHASIS ON A LITTLE BIT OF GEL BLUSH on cheeks for a flushed looked on cheeks over my matte finish powder and it does great--the key is to blend what very little there is very quickly

use the bronzer first.... then use the foundation afterward if you think you still need to.....

no u can't. it would make all the other stuff on your face melt and last less
