I think the car speed should be 40kmph when you change or
shift gear from 2nd to 3rd and from 3rd to 4th, it should be
80 kmph. Just follow your first driving instructor who is correct
and nobody else.
Best of luck with your 2nd driving test. I hope you'll pass with
full confidence.

depends on car model. Ferrari, Mustang, Hyundai. All transmissions match the power of car and should be driven according to builders manual. You never said make of car therefor hard to answer this as I drive a Porsche and it can take extreme shifts in the 2nd 3rd and 4th kicking it hard at high RPM, but a Hyundai or Chevette at same RPM or high spedd kick would drop the transmission onto the road. So until you get into high end cars drive as you should according to manual states. Besides the sound of engine should be your guide too, use the ears to listen to your car and treat it nice and it will treat you nice in return. Old saying--kick a dog he will bite you---same with cars.

motorcycles have a great style of gears because of the fact people have an exceptionally slender selection of useful operation. maximum folk pedal conveniently with a cadence between approximately 60 and ninety RPM. A pretty knowledgeable bicycle proprietor can turn bigger RPMs yet in some unspecified time interior the destiny their backside will start to bounce off the seat. Very solid cyclists would be waiting to muscle bigger gears at decrease RPMs, nonetheless it rather is a sturdy selection. consequently, you will desire to shift once you're drawing near those pedaling speeds. maximum persons discover their optimum pedaling cadence is in simple terms in between having their legs burn from attempting to mash the pedals and having their heart and lungs burn from spinning too speedy. desire this helps you out.

Every engine gearbox combination is different. Some engines like to rev up other engines have horsepower at lower revs. This is something you just have to develop a feel for and listen to the engine. For maxium acceleration take the engine to where the most power is generated and shift for where maxium torque is made gear for gear.

It all depends on the car, engine, transmission. Before you take the test, check the owners manual for the manufacturers recommendations.

Oh for Pete's sake. It depends on the car, how fast you want to accelerate, how much fuel you want to save, etc. Just get an automatic and don't worry about it.
