Because he's got the House and Senate majority. Clinton did not. And for the mindless sheep out there like farkas419 What WMD? It has been documented that our own Intelligence was telling the White House that Iraq was NOT trying to buy plutonium from Africa or black marketed from the former U.S.S.R. as the White House was trying to imply. Man you have got to be EXACTLY what Bush and his cronies hope the majority of the poulation is. And that is just plain ignorant. The Bush Administration flat out LIED to us and the WORLD for that matter to fight a war that his Daddy didn't finish. They have found in fact there were never any indications that Saddam and Bin Laden were ever on the same side. They are idealogical enemies and the CIA told Bush this and he went ahead and falsely announced it anyway. How many people are dead because of this Administrations lies? Do you sleep well at night knowing the you helped get elected is responsible for hundreds of thousands of wasted lives?

Its ineffective, first the President has to dedicate a impeacheable offense like "treason, bribery, or different extreme crimes and misdemeanors . Secondly the approach could take continuously just to initiate up, he could be long long gone out of workplace, until now it replaced into even started. Thirdly the democrats mechanically referred to as for it, precise now they're in a position or perhaps regarded that they does not do it. After the impeachment then the senate could could convict him. So no longer gonna ensue. He hasnt broken any rules, and actually there is not any reason to question him, he's gonna be long gone in a year, difficulty relating to the subsequent president.

He has not commited an impeachable offense. While unpopular to many, this war was started on the intel that was available. Also, he did not lie about WMD. Even General al Tikriti has said that Iraq had WMD up until a couple of months before the invasion and that France and Russia stalled the invasion long enough to assist Saddam's Regime in moving the WMD into Syria.

For what? Clinton lied about is sexual behavior in the White
House. Bush repeated information that was provided to him by
the CIA, and others. WMD's? Has every inch of Iraq been
probed? Or do you just ignore the fact that Iraq leader(s) had no
problem of testing or just using chemical and/or biological
weapons on their own citizens? Well, I guess it boils down to
whether or not you want a wimp, with sexual problems, or one
that takes bold and forthright steps to protect this Country.

A president has to do something "illegal" to be impeached. Not "liking" his actions is not enough.
BTW, Clinton was impeached for lying "under oath" in a judicial hearing. That is illegal.

Clinton was impeached for lying under oath in a court of law (that's perjury for you and me). The Dem's have promised to start impeachment proceedings if they win the house this year. President Bush didn't "lie" about Iraq, he went with what his intelligence agencies were saying (Clinton also said the same things about Iraq having WMD). Besides most Iraqi WMD's were moved to Syria before the invasion.

Beacuse the intelligence he used was not only approved by the Republicans, but the democrats as well. If they impeach him for using bad intelligence, then all the democrats would have to be impeached as well because they lied as well when they approved the move to go to war against Iraq.
Bill Clinton did all the lying on his own without a vote from Congress!

Um, because President Bush hasn't done anything impeachable.
Clinton was NOT impeached for "lying to the American people" he was impeached for LYING UNDER OATH.
And just WHAT did President Bush lie about? The WMDs that HAVE been found? Or perhaps a former member of Hussein's administration who has ADMITTED that yes, Saddam did have WMD's, and most of them were shipped into Syria and Jordan.

Because the bastards in Government out number those who want to do the right thing and hold impeachment hearings.
Because corporate America has OUR government in a strangle hold.
Because the dumbing-down of America has been highly effective.
