While both CBSE an ICSE are good boards, I'd recommend CBSE.

CBSE syllabus places greater emphasis on science and maths subjects. Given the fact that engineering and medical are two most common professions that students opt for these days, CBSE would be a good choice.

ICSE syllabus has a lot of stress on literature. If you want your child to pursue fine arts in future, it's be a wise choice.

A major advantage of CBSE board is it's wide reach in each and every part of the country. Even if you move to a different city/town, you'll never have problems finding a school.

Isce helps to get more percentage however knowledge wise CBSE will be the better option
