I presume you mean Acetanilide
Both Acetanilide and ortho-chlorobenzoic acid are readily soluble in ethanol and so it could be used to extract them.

Not sure about the solvent you want to use. All I know is that one should be soluble in the ethanol and one should not in order to be able to extraxt one out of the mixture. So if both are soluble in ethanol I'd say you'd have a hard time separating the mixture.

Ethanol is completely miscible in water so it can not be used as an extraction solvent for extracting any compound from water.
