I don't exactly believe in Astrology, but assuming we are all influenced by the environment, that would include the position of the planets as well as the sun and the moon. The position of the sun and moon is very influential, isn't it? So, why not the other planets?

No, but that is not to say some folks who do put much emphasis on astrology are not insane. Some people who believe in --(insert word)---could be insane. Are those who believe in UFO's insane, no, quirky perhaps, but that is not to say they are all sane. Just as many health care providers specializing in the field of Psychiatry have themselves at sometime been diagnosed and treated for mental illness at some point in their lives. Watch out! They may be anywhere!

Well I have always maintained that if you think about Astrology for long enough you would go insane. So that may be the correlation.

Possibly. You could check with Nancy Reagan, wife of former president Ronnie. The Reagans supposedly consulted astrologers about important decisions while Reagan was president. So I don't know what was more indicative of his administration's legacy - use of astrology or Alzheimer's disease.
