You can think at what you are going to do tomorrow, plan everything, write down and after that go outside and walk, admire the sun, the flowers, the yellow/brown leaves...and thank God you're in good health!

Library.
Get yourself down to Harrogate Library on Victoria Avenue. And get yourself a book to read this afternoon. They are open until 7pm tonight, but pend only two hours reading it. It should be a biography on someone you have never heard of.
Then write to the peron in the book. Send them an email. Tell them what a glorious place Harrogate is. And why you like it there. And what you think of them. And, as it is someone you have never heard of before, everything you know about that person will be informed by what you learn today, 4 October 2006.
Then, later in the afternoon, go to Mercer Art Gallery and take a look at the exhibition called Painting Lives, which is by contemporary women artists.
Take down the details of your favourite painting and write to the artist to tell them what you think of the picture.
And by the end of today, you will have found out about one famous person's life; you will have corresponded with two famous people; and you will always be able to recolect what you were doing the day you first found out about them.
That's a REALLY valuable way to use up a day.

Are there any free art galleries locally? Or buy some cheap bread with your £1 and go and feed the ducks.
