I'm not sure the type turtle you own but can tell you what turtles do before they hibernate. They soak in the water dish and slow down on eating so there is no food in the digestive tract. When the weather suddenly changes cooler in your area or the area where the turtle is from, if native to your country, it will start to hibernate on its own. Make sure it has sufficient covering of leaves and dirt and a temperature that is not too warm. If you are keeping a light or heater on it during the time of hibernation, you may turn them off. Turtles generally hibernate in the Northern Hemisphere from about November until March. The turtle may come out of hiding occasionally for a drink or just to move around when the temp warms but just leave it alone and don't feed. Just have a little water available.

well maybe she might be hibernating, and yes I think you should check on her just in case.
At one point my turtle stopped eating, but my brother and I came to a conclusion that the water temperature had been wrong. So when we put it on the right temperature (It might be different for each turtle.. I dont know) he started to eat again.

Just get a stethoscope and see if you hear a heart beat on her shell base. If you do she is probably just hibernating, if not well....
If you wanted you could take her to vet too, but you may feel silly when nothing turns out to be wrong.

is it a turtle or tortoise? Tortoises will be preparing to hibernate about now. Mine has gone off his food and is now in my study in his sleeping box.

Check on her, but I think you should just try to let her sleep. Hopefully she's just hybernating early.
