Psychomotor is a phenomena when a psychological stimulus evokes a response in the muscles or other organs of the body. for example: when men see a beautiful girl in a skimpy dress (it is a psychological stimulus) their body responses in a weird sort of manner.

it's pretty much a relationship between the brain and the muscles, etc. certain mental processes determine how the body moves. it is more so to do with voluntary muscle action where movement is triggered by mental activity. if you think about it in terms of sports performance, then it is how well your brain functions to produce coordinated body movements (e.g. kicking or throwing a ball).

One of my girls has siezures that the doc say is psychomotor responses to stress (also called focalmotor) the mind(psycho) responds to stress by making one side of her body(motor) shake. I don't know if that help you, that how it was explained to me, once the stress is gone no more siezures in 18yrs.
