A friend and I are going to Seville in Spain for 5 days next March and were wondering was there anyone who has stayed in a good hotel there that was not too expensive. Or an apartment. It would need to be central.

When we were in Seville two years ago, we stayed in the Hotel Regina*** without any complaints. Prices are reasonable and the hotel was renovated just before we stayed there (now two years ago). Every important place in Sevilla is practically at walking distance.

You can choose for yourself. There are many nice hotels in Seville, several in El Barrio de Santa Cruz "El Laurel" is one, but there are others worth looking at in internet...before you make your choice!

If you enjoy super posh...this hotel is what you want:

Hotel Alfonso XIII

It is absolutely magnificent, within walking distance of the center of town and most of the sites worth seeing. It was built in 1928 to be ready for the World Fair held in Seville in 1929, and has been one of the most luxurious hotels in the city ever since.

When the kings oldest daughter, the Infanta Elenas was married in Seville, most of the royal wedding guests were lodged there.

I stayed there for 2 weeks many years ago, and the last time I visited Seville with friends, we went there for an afternoon tea, just to have the pleasure of visiting it again!
