Accuracy means being on target. Precision means being reliable.

Imagine shooting at a target. If you hit a bulls eye, you are accurate. If you shoot ten times and hit the same spot every time (even if it is two feet to the left of the bulls eye), you are precise.

Two different English words --both may be used in the same context, but have different origins from Latin.
Accura-- to home on to a target like hitting a "Bull's Eye", with a single-pointed, unerring aim.
Precision= Latin, meaning to "cut exactly, without any error.". Other words are Decision= to cut and divide,(That is how we must make decisions! Yes/ No, Right/Wrong. )
Incision = to cut into, Excise= to cut out and remove [Excise Duty!], Concise= Brief and compact, circumcise= To cut around!
Does that satisfy your doubt?
