One week ago all kinds of people said they voted for republicans. Now, one week later, there isn't one person who will admit they voted for a Republican. Why?

I am in Michigan and am proud to say that Michigan went to Kerry in the last election and to Gore in the stolen election. John Engler should have been enough to turn anybody democrat he was the dirtiest politician that I have ever seen. Now Gov. Granholm is being attacked by the repuglican nominee for trying to straighten out the state in spite of a repuglican majority in both legislative houses. He has spent 16 million of his own money to get this job and I really wonder if the job is worth that kind of money or does he want to take his evil to Washington.

You're sadly misinformed. There are a lot more Republicans in Michigan than the mainstream liberal media is willing to admit, and that's because they know their precious Governor Jennifer Granholm is in serious danger of being voted out of office. She has put on a no-holds-barred ad campaign that has bashed virtually every decision ever made by her challenger, Dick DeVos. The Detroit Free Press has called her attacks "nothing short of demagoguery" and sources have told Gannett media in Detroit that she is bent on "getting re-elected at any cost." The most recent polls show DeVos leading by a margin of nine percent, so how can you say there are no Republicans in Michigan? If what you say is true, that means that a huge contingent of Granholm's supporters have turned on her.

P.S.: I'm a Republican and voted for the senior George Bush as well as the current President George Bush -- TWICE. Bash him and call him an idiot all you like; it just shows how narrow-minded and intolerant liberals REALLY are.

Maybe because they finally found their brains??????
You have all of these laborers who should very well be democrats. However, they spent one too many mornings listening to Q 106 in Lansing, and Rush Limbaugh, who very cleverly convinced them that they are really republicans even though there is no way in hell they should be! I think, I hope they are realizing that they were duped. At least I hope they realize that the current administration is wrong for them, and that it is inadvisable to vote a party line simply because all of the self-righteous Christians in Michigan told them they had to if they were good Christians.
I'm from Michigan by the way

So Sarge, by your reasoning if we say that the blue car is blue, then we are narrow minded??? Well then, so be it.

I'm a democrat but I know a few republicans here. Most of them are either militant wanna-be's or white collar christians. A few that used to be republicans have turned against their party because of the current administration. Even some of the Christians have because they realize that Bush duped them into voting for him by his lies. I'm working hard to convert the ones I know.....

Former President Gerald Ford is a Michiganer - - - as for the rest, cowards, if they put Bush in the White House they should fess up!! Another hard core group of Michigan Republicans are those America-First Militia groups, I'm quite certain they still love Cheney because Cheney shoots people!!

Maybe it has something to do with the large number of people in labor unions? Labor unions tend to be more democratic than republican and they are always trying to influence your vote.
