I have vacillated on this one for years. The one thing I am certain of, I do not believe a woman should have the choice of abortion merely as her form of birth control. A woman who has ever aborted a baby just for convenience should also then choose to tie her tubes! I am a retired female OB/GYN RN, I was born in 1936.

I love the way that people think it's one or the other. My sister is the mother of one son, with whom she got pregnant in her early 20's. She used to have a sticker that said "Mother by Choice".
Pro-choice means exactly that: pro CHOICE. It doesn't mean "pro-death" or "pro-abortion". I advocate the ability for a woman to choose, however, I am also pro-life. The two are not complete opposites. I do not agree in any way with abortion, period. But I do not think the government in a "free" country has any right to tell a person what she can or cannot do with her body.

I am Pro Life...27 Female. The only way I believe in it being a choice is if you have been raped or molested then of course they should take the morning after pill. Even then I don't believe that you should be able to abort a child after it has actually started to develop. I consider that murder. But that is me.
