I think you should go to a teacher you can trust and explain the way you feel, they may be able to put a stop to whats going on seeing there is a crack down on bullying issued by the goverment. It's not easy when people single you out and pick on you and i know it;s easyier said than done but try to ignore them. They are looking for a rise out of you and will soon get bored if they dont get it. Some people are just plain mean but take comfort in knowing you are not alone and you will get through this. You sound like an intelligent person. So, stop for a minute and think about all of this. This guy has led people to believe something negative about you due to you two fighting. What you need to do is find out what it is. If you can't, see if your best friend can aid you. I'm sure that it is some kind of idiot thing only a young boy could think up, but it is probably pretty cruel. So, brace yourself. Don't let these kids know that they are affecting you. When you find out what rumor this guy has been spreading, then confront him with it. And, make it public. Make sure that you let him and everyone around the two of you know that he is full of sh!t! Do not back down from him. If you do, then the teasing will never end. Also, there is no reason why you should care what other people think of you. You know the truth and that is all that matters. So, the next time these kids are being stupid, blow it off. They are making themselves look like a bunch of @sses, not you!!!

Although this advice will not help in the short term it may in time.
For many high school is a time which is characterized by everything you have described. The major reason is that teenage boys, and most girls, are by definition major league jerks. There are a few group leaders and a bunch of followers who derive some sort of sordid satisfaction on the misery of others. It is a result of immaturity which they are doomed to live with long after you have moved on. Try to approach high school with the attitude that the culture just does not matter. Concentrate on your schoolwork and rest assured with the knowledge that you will have a much better time in college. For each "popular" guy in high school there is a guy who goes to college, flourishes and ends up with a good life, job and mate. That is one of the reasons class reunions are so much fun. There is no more satisfaction than returning with a degree and finding that your largest detractors in high school are parking cars.
Concentrate on your school work. Stay away from the jerks. Treat them with the disdain they deserve. If you turn and walk away they will wonder what you are up to.
When dealing with the immature you can always use the ever ready, " Please grow up".

The best thing i did in school was forget about being popular and i joined clubs that interested me. Some of them might have been not very cool, but i made some great friends there. Telling you to ignore them won't solve any proplem about the way you feel. However, making yourself busy with activities that do not involve these people will soon put you in a different state of mind. You might not feel like it, but once you start something new you'll find yourself not caring so much about what they think.

Babe first of all I am sorry for what you are going through. Most kidds that pick on other kidds are having problems of their own at home. so they take it out on kidds at school and they normally pick on the kidds that will not defend themselves.
If your name stays in their mouths then you must be doing something right! Smile . Never let these morons see you cry. Stay strong write the down honey and read it every day and the pain and hurt will go away . Write this:

If you read this every day baby you can conquer any stress or pain. I had a simular problem growing up in school and I just lost my job from people picking at me because I am not white. One man put his hands on me. Of course I had to defend myself but I bet if and when I get my job back, I bet that I will get the respect that I deserve. Smile. Sounds like a real immature groups of people. I would suggest making some more mature friends and to "take the high road" on this one. People will continue with their behavior as long as they get rewarded for it, don't buy into their games. Put your self above their petty B.S. Get some friends that are more mature. Realize that while this is very terrible, you will survive it (most of us have dealt with this some time in our teenage years) and better things are going to happen. Just survive today and look forward to tomorrow. Good luck, take care of yourself and if it gets too much to handle, talk to a trusted adult who might be able to helpout with this situation.

Remember that people ridicule others to make up for their own insecurities.Doesn't make it much easier to deal with,but they are picking on traits that they feel they share with you. Most of the time it draws attention from their flaws to use you.If it makes you feel any better,An example is someone who ridicules another about something like homosexuality is generally compensating for their incredible fear of the tendencies in themselves.Inquire as to why someone who is belittling you is so concerned with the subject they've brought up.Should shut em up for a minute or two.Save this answer and give a copy of it to them.
