I am trying to find some important issues facing the new federal government when George Washington was in office and any help would be appreciated please.

There were quite a few problems during his presidency. Some include the acceptance of all the state's debts, the formulation of a national bank, and even the location of the nation's capital. It hasn't always been Washington D.C.
