This question goes out to all the peace loving folk on yahoo.
100 years ago Nietzsche allready stressed that Civilisation corrupts man. I think you'll happily agree that civilisation is pushing our society to the point of derailment. Now my question goes out to all of you. How would you view a perfect world. And how would you go about making this utopia a reality. Serious answers only please

Money would have to go and the distribution of food and wealth should be equal....its money that's making society into what we are at the moment as everyone wants "things" that's in actual fact is no use. There is a difference in need and want and we the first world have way more than what we need....Look at Tesco's making a profit of £1bil in six months....who needs a billion pounds....what and who are those people going to improve with that money. Only themselves.

We constantly forget that we are better and bigger and that there is a universe out there that needs to be explored. We use and abuse our planet for useless ****....that has no meaning or value at all....we develop comfort for the rich and exploit the poor.

What is civilisation? Society? Isn't it made up by all of us. Each one adds to that civilisation or society, then having made that corrupt we then exist in corruption and blame the outer. You cannot save the world nor do you need to. As humans we are time bound in our minds past present future. We only have the present, the now to act in, make changes, learn, understand. If we want to save ourselves and the life of our children and end the misery we create then we must grasp the urgency of action now. That would be a small step in making a so called utopia a reality.

May be we should be careful when we use the term ‘moderns societies’ and ‘modern wisdom’ and all those terms we coin by the use of this world ‘modern’. All ages of the past called themselves modern but the air this word creates is that of an unparallel excellence for all ages to come. We may not have found Shangri-La or our desired utopian land but they are never far in our collective mind. The same is true with the use of the words like ‘civilisation’, ‘progress’, ‘developed’ etc. These terms are relative and can be misleading to give a sense of absolutism. A progress many not after all be a progress if all processes eventually come to a standstill after running at a far to heavy a cost.

The western civilisation for example – has it come to a dead end. That from now on it will keep repeating itself with being able to regenerate new ideas and thought for the time to come. The world economy is based upon the fulfilment of our material need. We are never taught or trained to seek fulfilment in our being or to explore brilliant possibilities within ourselves. This type of thoughts is considered too introspective to be of some us. No one seeks self-development without having a material gain attached to it.

This is not peculiar with the West. Western civilisation just got there first upon the ladder of human cultural and social evolution. The rest of the world simply cannot wait to follow. Given the opportunities most of the people in the world would accept what West is trying to come to terms with. The speed of ‘progress’ has been relentless. Within just under a century the world has travelled from the horse back to jet aeroplane. But the cost of the progress has been dear both in terms of environmental disaster looming and dehumanising of the individual self.

Perfect world - can never happen fully because there will always be someone trying to get the upper hand.

But if you said that Earth citizens had no country boundaries, everyone had the same items supplied day-in-day out i.e water, food, shelter, something 2 keep mind occupied.

That mother nature did not randomly destruct.

But at the end of the day you would still need a certain control of how many people are on this planet and is it life sustainable.

So I think at end of day you will have a lot of hard work coming to the dream and you might not survive to see it.

The badness in human beings would hold the potential for us to be better than what we currently are.

With that much imp[lied, we would be able to critically take a look at our behaviors and correct the very same flaws.

We as a human race have grappled with the idea of perfection and found it illusive and too abstract to be practical. Unless we are willing to give up that outdated idea, we are trapped by our own desires and lust for something unreal and un-attainable.

Setting real possible goals and participating positively would be more rational, but I suppose a few dreams here and there could be therapeutic to the human psyche than just never-ending mundane chores. Volunteer would be a very nice way to progress without abuse.

Nietzsche got it wrong. His premise was that there was such a thing as civilisation. So he got off on the wrong foot. Since civilisation does not exist, it can neither corrupt nor save. Utopia could only be attained if all the people in the world, regardless of race, colour, creed became able to see and accept their fellow men as equals - as fellow human beings.
Depressing isn't it?

dear sir the world ...or our planet earth already has a development process that is its ecolocical blueprint...as it is female by nature it will produce and grow virtually anything...either fruitfull or poisonouus...as are its own naturally governed parameters. We use all of the planets materials to create things mostly for our personal use and so it would make sense to look to the planet for a natural understanding of how things work here....having grasped first the fact that it is a female planet..ie..mother earth we men should not wonder that we can feel alien here sometimes*As the planet has its own codings as towards development its natural progression is nothing to do with us ...because its instructions are always directly adhered to ..with humans our instrucions are also given directly but these days not many people respond...here is the most important thing...if humans do not send back a return sign that all is well here then no further energy and attention will be delivered to us.So the world in itself does not need saving but the humans living upon it could certainly do with some natural education..not greed hate mistrust..to name but a few things that would need to be addressed.Life will proceed with or without humans if you would like to save the world ..good thoughts are a small beginning*

By removing religion from pollitics. There will never be complete harmony, so I can't even begin to imagine what it would look like. No matter what changed in the big picture, there would always be haters, and discriminators, and self righteous people who think anything they are unsure of, or disagree with, or goes against their chosen faith is either wrong or evil. If someone of enormous power and talent for making people of all cultures listen was to exsist somewhere, and they could convince all the worlds nations and religions that it's ok for people to have personal opinions and that there isn't only one right way of living, that we are not black and white, we are a rainbow, then, and only then, would there be a true utopia and real world peace.

It seems to me that themajority of the problems come simply from the sheer number of people that are currently resident here, no currently practiced form of democracy seems to be capable of representing such a large group of people without becoming bogged down by red tape, beurocracy and general inefficiency. This gets people alienated from politics which in turn leads to politicians on the one hand getting away with murder and on the other trying gimicky ideas to get people interested.

I think there needs to be a more immediately recognisable link between voters the democratic process and actual real world results. One possible way of achieving this is to decentralise massively so that all decisions that affect an area are taken in that area, the downside is then the loss of resources, a centralised government has more resources to call upon to achieve things but has lesser local accountability. Locally accountable authorities just dont have the resources to make big differences, so its a bit of a quandry really.

I think the first step towards creating a "perfect world" would have to include educating people in their rights and more importantly their responsibilities, perhaps creating a formalised social contract could be a way forward. People are considered minors until they sign the contract, a system of mentoring both within and outside of the education system could prepare people for it with lessons in social responsibility, the meaning of freedom and importance of tolerance. Upon siging the contract you recieve the rights and freedoms of a citizen but if you break the contract then those rights are forfeited.

An important concept is that in nature there are no rights, they are a human creation and so are dependant upon us and a framework of law for them to exist. the constant claim of "I have the right to... have children/ not be offended/ do what I want" are the result of people not understanding the world we live in.

A better understanding of the reality of "nature" and the effect we have upon it (and our fellow human beings) has got to be central to any perfect world.

We can't save the world, we can't go against the nature. Everything which is in existence has its end. We can prolong its life by making an effort for the better. Like a sick patient, who's death is near, we can push the death a little away with medicine. In the same way the world we are living in, is sick. What makes the world? It's people. It means people are sick; sick people make the world sick.
Who are those sick people? First media, multinational companies, political leaders. These big guys sitting in big chairs, deciding the future of the whole humanity. These companies inventing everyday new promotions, new schemes to rip off innocent people's money or time. They know very well weaknesses of human beings. They use all the tools they can.
Keeping people confused & miserable; (its easy to manipulate when people are confused). Because of miserable people they can be rich & in power. And these people control the big sources of money & power to decide.
So much information is available, Most of them is manipulated.
The trend of the world is, how to trigger people emotionaly and make them victim for to fulfill one's greed of money and power.
Everyday we hear new kind of sickness, diseases.First they invent
medicines, then they invent disease. First they make blind, so they can sell their glasses. They have made a big drama around people, a very attractive, so people fall themselves to that attraction. Its big net work made in a way that every source of money and power remains in the same circle. There are two circles. One of this big guys vs public.
This is endless story, we can go on and on...........
For the better world, all we can do is to educate people.
Strenthen those who are weak.
We must start from ourself, then our family, then neighours.
We will never make it, if we think in terms of changing the world.
We need to change, person by person.
It is sad to feel this way. But its more sad when people ask me are you happy? and I have to pass a smile. honestly I would like to tell
them, how I can be happy, when people around me are not happy.
I am not a negative style but When I see this all, how can I make black into white.
Truth is bitter
ignorance is bliss
best of luck
