I hear that! That's the first thing that attracted me to my wife. Seriously, after our first date I couldn't even remember what she looked like. I mean, I sort of vaguely remembered, but it was her brain that attracted me the most.
What I find funny is my mates who have known me for years always tell me I don't have a "type" 'cause I've gone out with red-heads, blondes, brunettes, tall, short, thin, fat or whatever. They seemed to have missed the key ingredient in every girl I've ever dated.

Simply put, it's because intelligence stimulates more than just our physical selves...it engages our mind which takes us to places that mere physicality cannot achieve. "Sexy" isn't really about surface appeal, sure we might find a man or a woman physically sexy...until they talk and we realize, wow, there isn't anything there. So the appeal physically, over time, will fade and intelligence will persevere.
Oh, and by the way...this is irony...

I agree with Vacuum Boy. Paris Hilton is more "regurgy" than sexy. **barfs** A physically attractive woman that is smart is the okay, but street smarts and common sense and wisdom are all just as important. I don't think a 400 lb woman with a PhD is sexy, even if she had street smarts and common sense.

Intelligence should be the MOST attractive quality humans have. So that that intelligent people are the ones getting laid and therefore procreating. This improves the quality of the species.

What makes you so special that you get to see them? I never get to see them! They're always gone- undercover- gathering top secret information- and feeding it to my sources- whom I never get to see either!
Come to think of it- that does sound sexy in and of itself- the MYSTERY!! Maybe that's it???
