Gwen Stefani's old band was called No Doubt. They had a huge hit with the song 'Don't Speak'. They released albums including Tragic Kingdom and Return Of Saturn before she went on her merry way to solo stardom.

There was also an American band from the 80's, similar in style to No Doubt. They were called Get Wet, and they had a hit in Australia with "Just So Lonely", and also did a cover version of the Connie Francis hit "Where The Boys Are".
