What are they called? im tying hard to remember but its just gone - there is definetly term for those type of words - any one there happend to have done a level english??

Abstract nouns is the usual term for concepts or ideas, emotions, and other things that don't actually exist in form.

The word you seek is ABSTRACT. It is a suitable word to describe certain intangibles such as emotions, ideas, and the like.
