Depends on their age and personal preference
If you want a good meal with great views go to the OXO tower
You could do the London Eye first then lunch
then visit the Globe and finish with a wander through the Tate Modern, All walking distance and same side of the water
then
Over the millenium Bridge to St Pauls for a coffee
nice day! Book the Eye though its a pain waiting

depends but if your friends are as obscure as mine:
walthamstow: grey hound racing!! amazing fun, feel like your in a film or some huge art piece, so many amazing things to experience and see...
bohemian? old street on a saturday night, or vintage shopping during the day
lots of other things, but these two are ultra fun, especially if u do both together... just one train between them

the restaurant at the top of the OXO tower, the view is immense. Otherwise go for a dinner cruise on the thames, its more affordable and its super romantic.. theres loads of companies who do this but the one i've used is linked below and i highly recommend it.
