are muslims the most arrogant and ignorant people in the world?

i work in retail and they never say please or thankyou when you help them, they look at you as if your below them and then they start talking that jibbajabba language in front of you when earlier they were talking english when they thought no one was around

no they dont say please or thankyou or have any sort of manners what so ever. all the ones who shop in our store wouldnt know how to use any form of manners if their lives depended on it

i think so im in kuwait and they are rude and disrespectful a*sholes but not all of them dont get me wrong. they are mean and psycho and look at me as if they have authority of me and little do they know i have quit a bit of power in this fu*ked up country. and i want to whip some towel head as*. i feel bad for you knowing how i get disrespected here, just ignore them if you can

Nah, you'll always run into arrogant and ignorant people of all stripes. Muslims are humble in many many aspects, I personally think this is really awesome (always feed a visitor who comes to their home ... they'll even wash your feet ... that's humility). Humble. As are most christians. Most jews. But, depending on those who lead and indoctrinate certain sub-groups of any religion or organization (priest, mullah, cleric, rabbi, whoever ... can pervert the religion's teachings and make a rotten mess out of their followers) ... so you'll sometimes get a steaming batch of the worst human ***-fungus ever produced that think they're better than anyone and everyone. It's not restricted to Muslims. Arrogance and ignorance is just another ugly human trait that will probably lead to our wide-scale demise (and, yeah, religion will absolutely fuel our destruction). Religion ...a lot of good has come from it. But so have most of the world's most horrific atrocities.

I dunno. I've been up all night. This sorta makes sense to me as I write this. Stay up a couple days, come back, read it and you'll totally agree with me.

And it's only muslims that speak in other languages or accents?

And it's only muslims who want what they're discussing to be discrete?

I think you're pretty arrogant and judgemental yourself there buddy.

Now if you'd come in and asked about customers in general I'd have supported you all the way - I have a sister-in law who works in customer service and she's got some stories to tell of shocking customer rudeness. I've also done some work in customer service (managing a restaurant) and I could also tell you some stories. But you know what, you kinda kicked yourself in the butt and demonstrated your narrowminded attitude.

Perhaps if you've got an attitude like this you're bringing these reactions out in your customers.

If you cannot be unbiased and serve customers fairly and politely regardless of who they are and where they're from, you're giving your organisation a really bad reputation.

I don't remember the exact quote but it was Sigmund Freud (the world reknowned Psychologist) who said it is those who demand the most tolerance from others who are least tolerant themselves. I agree that unfortunately muslims tend to be quite unsociable but Its important to acknowledge that this does not represent true Islam. I know its become a cliche but its true, Islam is a very pure and simple religion at its core but followers easily get lost in the details of tradition and fine print and forget the basics of loving thy neighbour and treating others as you would be treated yourself.

Islam has nothing to do with being arrogant, in Quran there is a verse that tells Muslims not to be arrogant and no matter how high you get you will never be as high as the mountains.

Not all of them are arrogant, but 99% are, not all of them are ignorant but 99% are..I have friends in the other 1%.

nobody is arrogant b'coz of their religion.. people's arrogance and any related such qualities is purely individualistic.. eventhough i'm not a muslim i have few muslim friends who are kind hearted and courteous..

Not all are like that, I work with many very nice muslims.
But there are sub-cultures that are very much what you describe.

Some don't because of how the person acts with them. i dont understand why cant we live in peace? some christians really understand us wrong. like they believe tht all muslims are terrorist. we really aren't.
