Since most medical terminology involve words with latin roots, if you look up the latin meanings and learn to associate those with an English word, it usually helps. Such as learning the word for left is sinistera- so all things refering to the left side use the abbreviation or letter S. Ocula refers to the eye- hence O.S would be referring to the left eye. Learning the latin roots really helps it all make more sense. When I did my paramedic and nursing training, that was how we learned it all.

Why not get a job in a hospital as a ward secretary? You will learn medical terminology fast and on the job.

Anagrams associated with sections of your reading. The best way to remember the garbage they are teaching you.

Vocalize the anagrams and then vocalize their meanings.

Do this again and again until you can recite them blindfolded.
